This place was an absolute paradise! From the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere to the jaw-dropping log cabin on stilts that we were upgraded to, everything was mind-blowingly perfect. The clean swimming pool and well-maintained grounds added to the wow factor. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay super enjoyable. The owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful, arranging all our transportation needs with their 24-hour reception. The personalized menu of authentic Sri Lankan cuisine was a pleasant surprise. We even got to stay in one of their smaller Tree Houses, which was a unique and unforgettable experience. The pool was a fantastic bonus that we used daily. our stay here was out of this world and we cannot recommend this place highly enough!

The Hideout is a true paradise in Sri Lanka! The staff went above and beyond to cater to our needs and the rooms were exquisite and well presented. The panoramic tree house, family tree house, and double room offered stunning views and were clean and comfortable. The hotel manager was attentive and always had our best interests in mind. The food was delicious and the swimming pool was clean and inviting. The location was perfect for exploring Sigiriya Rock, the National Park, and the Dambulla cave temples.

The Wi-Fi only worked well in the reception area, not in the rooms.

Friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, great pool. Comfortable cottage made of natural materials. Incredible food and helpful owners. Spacious room with mosquito nets, nice bathroom, individual terrace with chairs. Tropical birds, stunning view of rock, oasis in rice fields.

Panoramic tree house, family tree house, and double room were clean, well-presented, and exquisite. Staff were amazing, answering all questions and catering to every need. Hotel manager was attentive and shared a love for Hoppers. Workers were kind, despite language difficulties. A magickal stay.

During my stay at The Hideout Sigiriya, I had the pleasure of exploring the beautiful rice fields while jogging in the mornings. The local community was so friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The hosts were a lovely family who went above and beyond to ensure a great stay. And let's not forget the amazing chili paste and chutney that made up for any lack of food variety. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a peaceful and memorable experience.

We had an amazing time at The Hideout! The peaceful location amidst the lush paddy fields was a true hidden gem. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the gardens were beautifully maintained. We loved taking a refreshing dip in the swimming pool and lounging on the sunbeds. The friendly owners made us feel right at home and the delicious Sri Lankan food added to the authentic experience. The central location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions, and we rented bicycles to easily get around. we highly recommend this guest house for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

We enjoyed the beautiful views from our room, especially during sunrise. The pool was a great spot to relax and cool off, and we loved the unique elephant showers.- The location was ideal, with easy bike rides to nearby attractions.

The rooms did not meet our expectations in terms of finish and quality. Insects and ants were everywhere, and the window mesh was ineffective.
